Highlights On Lace

Salam everyone, here's one of the lastest we had. Lace on chiffon. Highlights are concentrated mainly on the bigger flower parts of the lace. Since the lace is of dark green in colour, we thought we might as well use something striking like hot pink (not a fan of pink myself, but nevermind hee... :p~~)

The rest is done with larger rice beads of lighter colour.. the baju itself is quite heavy since the beads are done from the front to the back. Penuh!! Below are pictures of the lace before and after work was done.

Manik Bertabur & Mini Flower

This customer mau manik bertabur on the sleeves and then manik berjuntai on the other end of the pumpkin sleeves. So we came up with these.. mini flowers dialatkan dengan manik berjuntai. Kainnya jenis chiffon, so I had to be exra careful, sooo fragile lah kain jenis cemani anie. But in the end it looks good, and that is all that matters.

This baju is actually for a young girl, but the size is slightly larger so we had to charge accordingly (karang ada yg tertanya-tanya as to why we had to charge extra)

Full Highlights & Manik Bunga

Salam semua, it has been quite a while. It has taken me quite sometime to update. There were unfortunately a few baju that had to go without pics heee... ooppss.. mana kraja lagi, so schedule kami was a bit packed.

This baju belongs to a cousin of ours. Its red, like verryy red! I know.. hee.. but she's fair (like very fair!) so she can easily pull this piece off. Nya orang, kalau orang lawa, pakai apa pun lawa kan?kan kan kan?? Anyways, full highlights on front of the baju, nothing complicated, just simple techniques. Banyak pakai sequins saja sal banyak zig-zag patterns as well as there were a few spots with scattered dots so kami pakai different sizes of pearls to bring out the design. And as for arah bahagian tangan, we had sewn half flower design in alternate colours.

Highlights

Yes, we are already back from Hari Raya. In fact,, kami sudah mula beroperasi since last week.But the process on this baju has been very, very, veeeeerrryyy slow due to all to all the house visits and open houses we had to go (its not like we're obliged to go, but it is hari raya!!! Hee….) After all, we can hardly resist good free food hahaha... So my apologies to Ms Cybercanon. Jan marah lai ah...hee... Ko baik!

Anyways, highlights on this particular baju is quite heavy, using all sorts including manik, pearls dan sequins. Design baju ani is a bit unique and puzzling, so we had a hard time at first thinking 'apa kan ku buat nie ah??...' but in the end it all ends well. So we hope she likes it.

Radhiah & Nina's secret garden

This also belongs to both of my nieces. And seperti biasa, design for both baju is the same (nda boleh lain, krg kana complain hee...). Both girls are into all this butterfly and girly-girly stuff (aren't we all at some point of our lives?).

The manik used on these baju are more flamboyant in colours and more striking than other baju that I had done before. Manik bunga dijahit di kawasan leher, and manik bertabur dijahit arah bahagian badan baju. Since they like butterflies so much, manik butterflies are thrown in here and there to create a 'cheerful' effect. Meanwhile, manik sequins, flowers and heart-shaped sequins dijahit secara tersusun dibahagian bawah baju dan tangan untuk menampakkan sedikit kelainan.

Customer nda mau terlampau heavy, so highlight arah bahagian bunganya saja, with some minor details added to give it a little bit of 'bling-bling' look.. :-)

Mini Me

Ok, honestly, the previous baju belongs to my sister, and this baju belongs to her daughters. There were two of them, and they are a like. Tapi kami post one of them saja hee... Not much difference except baju ani ada two layers. First layer, kami jahitkan manik bunga, simple saja. Tangan and hemline, just like the previous baju, design manik 'V'. And as for the neckline, instead of using manik kristal, kami jahitkan roses. This is would look proportionately better.

Kristal Flowers & Manik Bertabur

The beading on this baju is concentrated on the neckline area. Kainnya jenis Chiffon, so too much on the kain will eventually damaged the fabric, and we wouldn't want that to happen rite? Manik arah hemline and tangan, we kept it simple with manik 'V'. And the beading on the neckline consists of 2 parts. The outer part, manik bunga, using batu kristal and kawasan dalaman dijahitkan manik bertabur. Separated with jahitan manik beriring. On the whole this baju is already 'heavy' and the very blinggg... :-) just the way the owner wants it.

Highlights for Babu

This baju is meant for a surprise for our paternal granny (at least that's what I think!) hee... Our aunty hjh had this made out for our granny and we were given the honour of doing the beading. Kami buatkan highlight saja since the pattern on the kain ani panuh udah and honestly, we love it... So kami buatkan full highlights dari hemline baju sampai ke leher... Sleeves and bawah baju di jahit manik V with sequins (that seems to be the favourite amongst us this year, don't ask us why) heee....

Mini Roses & Manik Bertabur

This baju also belongs to the same relative as manik manjalara v.2 & flowers & vines. Since she had left the designing to us, jadinya kami decide to do each baju differently. For baju kurung yg ke-3 ani, kami jahitkan mini roses on every slope (hemline on the sleeves and bawah baju di potong wavy) and dialatkan dengan mini daisy flower. On top of that, di tambah lagi dengan manik bertabur (pearls and manik biasa) to make it more complete, lebih 'meriah' and sweet hee... hope she likes them...

Manik d tangan as requested by customer, ia mau manik and sequin so I did this for her.. She also wants highlights arah bunga2 yang arah hemline saja. Some bunga nda berapa nampak,so I try to make something out of it. Contrasting colours are used so that it will bring out the prints design (nama jua highlight kan? kan jenet? kan kan kan kan???..). Hopefully she likes them..
